Shirley A. Green, Oakwood College class of 1975, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2006 at her daughter's home in Lithonia, Georgia. Shirley, her husband Donald (OC Class of 1973) and children Donna and Stephen lived in Huntsville, Alabama for many years.

She taught and served as principal for schools in the Allegheny East Conference, Southeastern Conference and South Atlantic Conference. For several years, she and her husband co-owned and managed CHUB'S, a vegetarian sub shop in Huntsville, AL. Last year she joined the class of 1975 for it's 30th celebration and couldn't stop talking about a trip she wanted to take to Africa. She spent her last years with her daughter and family in metro-Atlanta working in a health ministry.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Green-Goodman; son-in-law, Edward T. Goodman, III; grandson, Edward T. Goodman, IV; sister-in-law, Betty Kibler and family; and a host of other relatives and friends.
