South Central Conference-Adventist Community Services Disaster Response (ACS DR) announces the addition of its Mobile Kitchen Trailer.
The Mobile Kitchen will serve closely with agencies like Red Cross to provide meals and mobile distribution of meals and water to survivors in shelters, low-income housing, and dark counties, as well as disaster workers, and clean-up crews.
The Mobile Kitchen will be used as a first response mobile unit in times of major federally declared disaster within the five state SCC territories of Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Kentucky, and north west Florida. It will also serve areas outside of SCC’s territories if invited by sister conferences and governmental or not-for--profit agencies.
ACS Director Alexander Lampkin, indicates that tours of the new Mobile Kitchen Trailer will be available this weekend, April 28-30 at Oakwood College in Huntsville, AL.

The Administrative and Departmental Reports for the Second Quinquennial to be held this coming weekend, April 29-30, 2006 are available at the South Central Conference website.
This is a "first" for the Conference which always distributes a printed report to delegates to the session. However the conference administration is seeking to provide the reports to as many of its constituents as possible.
They are located in the administration section of the South Central website at www.scc-adventist.org. If link does not work in your e-mail you may paste the following link in your browser.
