Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

The Lord blessed the efforts of First Elmore’s Community Outreach projects. The First Elmore SDA Church is a small church that is concerned with doing the Lord’s bidding. The church spent several months getting to know their community and meeting their needs by providing the following: free clothes giveaway (spring and fall), community fun day, VBS, Super Saturday Story Hour, Cuts for Christ, Heavenly Festival (Alternative to Halloween), and personal bible studies. 

The Lord impressed Pastor Aaron N. Mills, Jr. to run an evangelistic effort entitled “Unfolding the Mysteries of Revelation” which was conducted November 1 – November 24, 2009 at the First Elmore SDA Church. Pastor Mills and several members used one weapon to help assist in winning souls, prayer. 

As a result of building a relationship with the people, prayer, and preaching the everlasting gospel, the Lord blessed the addition of four new souls that were baptized on November 28, 2009: Shero Brown, Charlie Benson, Carla Jackson, and Marquita Johnson. Charlie (the only male baptized), after hearing the health message, stopped smoking the same day cold turkey. 

To God be the glory! The other candidates that were baptized are parents of children that had been attending VBS, Super Saturday Story Hour, and other activities designed for kids. 


The church family at First Elmore is excited about their growth and has proclaimed that this is just the beginning of more souls to come! Please pray with us regarding those individuals who have not yet taken their stand for the LORD.
